Findus Lasagna...

What would you do?

I fancy a lasagna for our meal tonight & I've got a large 'Findus' one in the freezer. normally we quite enjoy it with garlic bread and a fresh salad.
But... do I eat it or throw it?
It seems such a shame to throw it. I Dunno what to do.

I know it won't kill us but the mere thought there could be Horse meat in it gives me the shivvers.

I may have my frozen chicken sweet and sour meal tomorrow night if i havent got time to cook. I pray that isnt really cat and not chicken x lol

Chuck it. I've just thrown a Morrisons Lasagne and also an Asda Pasta Sauce out of my freezer, not out of date but just to be sure. I heard somewhere that Pasta Sauce could be affected too.

why is everyone saying chuck it if you don't fancy it? whats wrong with offering it to friends or nieghbours who are not so fussy? if supermarkets are chucking food instead of giving it to the homeless, thats disgusting.

The reality is you may have already eaten horse meat if you have been sampling this product for a while. But you have answered the question yourself....... it gives you shivvers! Just chuck it

Well I cooked it for tonights tea, my H ate 2/3 of it & I had a taste (tasted like dried grass to me) the salad & garlic bread were delish. Washed down with a bottle of ros'e & choc pudding.
Had a gallop around the paddock afterwards. (a good night)
