Does anyone know if you can still buy the aluminium teapots that were popular in the 60s/70s. I don't want a catering one - just one for home use for a family of two.

Don't know if they are still available but I seem to remember that they and aluminium kettles can be dangerous as the aluminium leeches into the water.

That would explain iwhy I can't find one then. Oh well - just have to stick to individual teabags. None of the modern teapots seem to pour very well.

If you don't mind secondhand, you will probably find one at a car boot.

Have you an Asda ? or Tesco They may have them, they had the little metal jugs, still have the Teapot set as you say they pour well and last ....
