Anyone out there confess to using any?

I'll admit to have bought already sliced mushrooms and microwave mash and rice.

I don't think most of the things above are cheating - frozen veg, stock cubes, tinned soup, ready-made pastry, etc - but I have low standards (easier to maintain).
I used more 'cheats' a few years ago-puff pastry, liquid stocks, micro rice. But I cut most processed stuff out of my diet 2 years ago. Too much salt and unpronounceable ingredients. I use a lot of tinned soups, and cheats like tinned pies,Bisto at work...even more reason not to use at home.
Packet crumble mix
I'm cheating tonight. Sainsbury's steak pie, McCains rustic wedges, frozen peas and Bisto gravy.

I didn't get home from my friend's house until 7.30. Needs must!
I'm a bit confused. I thought Eve was pastafreak, renamed.
So I have to confess to tinned soup, Oxo gravy cubes and frozen Yorkshire Puddings and dumpling mix?
when i lived in Norwich i used to buy anything Mrs Green had baked for the WI stand in the market there....dont know who she was /is...but her baking was brill..i would throw a bit flower around the kitchen..and pretend...lol
Tilly, Eve is Jenna renamed! :)
i thought you were going to talk about weird reconstituted stuff etc
or rip off stuff like 'Hainz' baked beans or 'Campballs' soup, etc
Flour ....predictive thingy....
We've just got similar avatars,Tilly...;-))
Right, got that now.
Sorry, forgot to say Thank you!
Aunt Bessies frozen mash is really very good!
A blow up doll!

That reminds me, it needs emptying!
Frozen pastry
I always make my own short-crust, but flaky pastry I buy.
Please someone explain the point of buying ready-cooked rice or mashed potato - both such simple things to cook (and rice can be be cooked in bulk and frozen to re-heat in microwave as and when)
the point is 1. its available and 2 people want to.

oh and I buy packets of peeled froze chestnuts in waitrose....chestnuts all year round, no faffing and they are my slowcooker turkey stew secret ingredient.
