Please don't laugh. I have 2 Jack Russell pups who are 7 months old and just wonderful. However their noses are changing from black to brown! Is this normal. They are very active, eating well and appear to be very healthy. should I take them to the vet?

I would appreciate any help you can give.

Have they been digging?
Are they female? It's perfectly OK I wouldn't worry about it, some suggestion that it might be hormonal. Once they go brown they are unlikely to go black again.
My westies 6 and 16 , go brown in winter, I have just noticed my 1 year old cockapoo has just gone brown as well, it has been jet black, come summer there pigmentation in there nose will go dark again,
My cross J.R.'s tummy skin goes black in summer and white in winter. Bit like stoat/ermine.
(Her nose stays black all year round!)

thank you all who answered. The girls were dressed in January so perhaps it is hormonal.
