Which historical or literary figure do you think most resembles you?
The question is prompted by Richard III turning up in a car park this morning. I always felt quite an affinity with him and of course Gordon Brown famously said he felt he was like ' Heathcliffe' ;-)
So who is yours?

Yes, my daughter is quite a fan of hers Em, a very influential and important figure and someone a lot of people would do well to learn about.
Catherine the Great Atlanta? Now that does sound interesting:)
i am an admirer, you know that her daughter is Shirley Williams?
Anne Oakley ! I am pugnacious at times and detest cruel or mean spirited behavior in a person. Love the outdoors and wide open spaces. Love animals, especially horses. I wear jeans and boots and cowboy hats. I'm 5' and full of Irish! I enjoy history of the the West and westward expansion. American Indians, Texas Rangers, historical mapping, and surveying battlefields. (Standing alone on Custer Battlefield made my soul hurt). I love adventures and believe that a good sense of humor and being able to laugh at yourself is great medicine! I have a pistol and a holster. I detest rattlesnakes and if we cross paths, I will shoot them!
i was going to say annie oakley as soon as i read the thread! are you my twin joanne because you've just described my perfect life.
I'm just average
I see myself as Groucho Marx, my OH wishes I was like Harpo (!) but thinks I sound like Tony Hancock ( "What? A man of my kal eye ber?" )
Live in the Texas Hill Country. Love it, except the summer sun is unforgiving. We really do wear cowboy hats for protection from the sun. I don't know what our excuse is in the winter. My ears get cold! Life is good when your are retired! HA!
I have lots of friends in Texas , all fellow Garth fans of course.
Shouldn't that be 'Yee-ha'? :-)
Let's see.... DJ Hawkes, Texas Ranger, rode with fellow Ranger John Coffee Hayes and was a close and true friend of Gov. Sam Houston!

How's that for a history lesson?
