Does anyone know the name of and person who sings the song at the end of the first episode of Roswell High. Liz and Max are hugging(?) He has just shown her the flashes.

It is either 'Crash Into Me' by Dave Matthews Band or 'Save Tonight' by Eagle Eye Cherry. Or, maybe, 'Fear' by Sarah McLachlan.
All these were certainly in this episode. It's been a while, though, sorry.
