how could i forget about that. yep without i doubt that is the best show of the year, not bin good for me cos i finished watchin it months ago because i managed to get them on dvd. cnt wait for the new series. even if it wont b startin over here till march or summit

Lost lost me a long time ago another hyped up show like desperate housewife's that IMHO is not anywhere near as clever as they think they are.

Eastenders, although in fairness it's so bad sometimes it's actually quite funny.

You have contradicted yourself. Your question refers to "this year" but your title refers to 2005. If you mean this year, then I nominate "Catch Me If You Can" which was on TV yesterday. If you mean 2005, I nominate "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe" which (a) is vastly superior to Harry Potter (b) I have watched 4 times so far.

The best film I saw at the cinema was, 'A Very Long Engagement'. (Seems a lifetime ago)
Best TV- Bleak House
Most Missed TV- Homicide, Life On The Street. I'm still waiting for the final series to be shown over here.
Most hated- Big Brother

No it wasn't. It was released as a film in 2002. I nominated it for this year (as requested by the question) because it was shown on TV the other day.
