It would appear so.
I assume you dislike that so many companies have their call centres abroad.

Nothing to do with racism.
at least they dealt with your calls efficiently which is more than most (whatever their culture)
It irritates the hell out of me when I have to deal with overseas call centres simply because the line is usually bad, I cannot always understand the accents and the operatives always claim to have an English name which is a blatant lie. The last one I spoke to in India claimed her name was Hilda. I asked her if that was her real name and was met with silence.
And no, I don't think I am racist
I feel the same Bednobs, I don't think it's racist i just think you have been conditioned to associate the accent with a bad experience. These days the sound of an Indian accent on the phone normally means it's either some kind of sales call, a scam or if you've called them some tragic attempt at so called customer service. At least now you've had a food experience you might not be so irritated next time.
Food? Should read good, damn autocorrect.
I had to deal with Love Film customer service recently who were obviously in India, two calls, two different gender operatives, both allegedly called Francis. lol
They`re very efficient but what irritates me is that they just don`t deviate from the script. Twice, I had long calls with BT tech help in India and twice (even though it was midnight here) I was asked if I`d had my dinner yet! That`s obviously on their script to fill in the silence when they`re sorting out the problem.
