I have just purchased an iPad 16GB Wifi only. I have an Epson SX405 Printer, normally connected to my Laptop. I should add that I am a silver surfer and not all that computer knowledgable.
I want to print some pages from my iPad Apps called "Notes". I have been told I need to install a utility Apps to enable me to print those pages onto my Epson SX405 Printer which will be directly connected from the iPad to the printer. The cable came with the iPad.
Many thanks for any help you may be able to give.

I too have an ipad2 16GB wifi. I was told that you can only print using a compatible wireless wifi printer. HP printers were mentioned.
I do not have a wireless printer so what I do is send myself an email with an attachment and then pick up the email on my laptop and print it off or transfer it onto a memory stick and go to a print shop.
Hope this helps
you used to need a printer that has an "airprint connection. Apparently there are also now apps in the app store that will print over your network but there are loads and some at least only work with certain printers.

Loads of helpful info here and if you say you are a beginner they will explain stuff simply

hi Graham51
first of all you need to check whether your printer is 'Airprint':

If not, you can download a decent printing app like Print n share that should help, also if you get stuck I have heard that they have good support.

goodluck!
