As far as I'm aware that sounds pretty meaningless op, do the people who gave you the quote specify what type of timber it is - oak for example?
Why not ask the company that is selling it ?
Deluxe timber is twice the price of course !
/what the difference is between normal timber and deluxe/

About £10 a metre (or as much as they think they can get away with)
An excuse for charging more.

I will ask but I was hoping that there was a true answer compared to what I might be told!
Never heard of it bamberger :o(
If you think they're bluffing you bamberger, do you really want to be doing business with them?

A reputable joinery firm should have no problem telling you exactly what type of wood they're proposing to use, confirm it's joinery grade, country of origin and whether it's air or kiln dried.
there is hard wood and soft wood as we all know,so the only difference between normal and deluxe is deluxe is planed but I've only ever heard of planed or unplaned
