owd, holidays? Try non-contact time. Form filling, meetings, lesson planning, research, marking, exploring exam possibilities, courses to attend, school adventure camps, rehearsals for school shows. When teaching Secondary level, each year 1 Shakespeare, 1 musical, 1 pantomime, 1 staff production. Costumes, scenery, props. All to raise funds for the school. Oh yes, and a family to look after.

'Hard done to' teachers receive around 13 weeks/¼ of a year holiday a year, other wotking folk receive 4/5 weeks
