Can't they cut us a bit of slack at this time of year as regards postin entries? The Mail crossword has to be postmarked "no later than tomorrow", a good trick considering tomorrow is someone's special birthday. Equally, the Express big one has to be in by Friday, meaning that anyone who was working today is struggling big time. You'd think they could add on a few extra days at this time of year, and New Year, especially up here where everything comes to an utter standstill for two days.

Rant over.

A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to one and all, even Glentoran fans.

Good point & thank you for the reminder!

"Happy Birthday" for tomorrow to Sir Isaac Newton - although I'm not sure how this affects posting dates...

Merry Christmas to you & yours, Duncer :-)

The increased gravitational pull around his birthday always causes a delay in postage. :-)

Ah, right...
The Irish Mail on Sunday does the same thing, its only 101 miles from Belfast
to Dublin but it takes 3 days to deliver, so the Thursday c/d is out this week.
Don't expect the prize comes North of the Border, still I like to do that little one ~ its a stinker and I still havn't finished it, it was possible take to Thursday
to finish.
Have a Wonderful Christmas everyone.
