sorry collaton, but I have no idea how PC literate you are..... you realise that the Operating system (Windows?) has to be installed on the new puter first, before you can transfer the data, don't you?

Alternatively you can copy all your data to an external hard drive, and from there to your other computer. Then you have a backup of your data on the external HDD, which you can update periodically.
