it could be when they sometimes sing the theme tune elvis used to use to begin and end his gigs, very dramatic - dana daaaaaah, dana derrrrrr, repeated over and over

yes its definitely the elvis music - the instrument is actually a trumpet but they sing it 'sar sar sar' for some reason. check out some of his old gigs on video and the name of the tune may be in the credits
