Can anybody remind me the title of an old sit com, possibly from the 1970s. Unfortunately all I can remember is that it was about two families who lived as neighbours in two typical suburban semis and were good friends with each other. In one episode they had fallen out and each put their house on the market, only to buy each other's house (?)

Bless this house?
All of them ?
Love thy Neighbour? Not good friends though! Wonder why it's never shown now? In fact how did it ever get made in the first place?
Hgrove you could try this site www.bbc.co.uk and follow the link to the comedy guide. There is an A-Z guide of all the comedy programmes ever shown on tv, including pilot shows. I had a look last night and nothing leapt out at me as obvious by the titles, but each programme has a synopsis of the plot so if you've got an hour or two you might strike lucky.

Many thanks to all - it was Bless this house. I have identified it thanks mostly to nfn and halfadaily; that BBC website is very useful.
