In one of the 'Morse' books by Colin Dexter, the old police surgeon 'Max' is dying and he quotes ' Nothing matters very much - and in the end nothing matters at all' - Is this quote attributable to Lord Balfour, anyone know? and what was the title of this particular story? Thanks
