quiz drivin me mad?

these are names of bands or artists - any one got any ideas 1 - sent for porridge 2 - preserve reflect on famous river probably kick myself when all you lot get them in two seconds flat.

1 is Slade - after the prison of the same name - that's for the quiz, not the band themselves, they used to be called Ambrose Slade, and shortened it.

thanks to you both, slade has come up ok in the excel sheet quiz as the correct answer, and I know now jamiroquai is the right answer but i have just got to figure out how the author of the quiz has spelt it, it keeps telling me its wrong but it cant be. i see it clearly now "jam mirror kwai" thanks again

Try Jamiroquoi(s). The second part of it comes from the Native American tribe, Iroquoi(s) so it could be that
