bluetooth ??

I have a Samsung D500 phone which has bluetooth - can I transfer pics to my pc using this 'bluetooth' method ? My pc is an HP Pavilion with wireless 802.11 b/g and software access point ( whatever that means ! ) Is this 802.11 b/g 'bluetooth' ?

Yes you can using bluetooth. you may need to use the browse files option from the bluetooth management disk that you might have. I have a dongle and that is how I do it.

As the last respondent said, you can use Bluetooth. It doesn't sound as if this is built in to your PC, so you will need to buy a "bluetooth dongle" - a small device that plugs into a USB port - to use bluetooth. If your phone came with a USB cable you may be better off using that.


Oh - bluetooth is a short range wireless protocol that enables devices to talk to each other. Common uses with phones are to PCs, other phones and bluetooth headsets.
