Had a sleep this afternoon, to prepare for my night shift. Sent the kids off, and went into work... only to be told I wasn't working! Apparently, someone was supposed to ring me and let me know the rota had changed... Grrr.

So, I now have an empty house. What to do? Bit of X Factor, I think.

Maidup, it's annoying as hell, but I just kinda shrugged, huffed, and walked out. I'd booked the day off tomorrow, as I thought I'd be shattered, so I now have to find something to do tomorrow, too. Think I will do as you've suggested and pop out and get some crimbo cards. Tomorrow, not tonight :)

Judge, yeah, to be honest, it wouldn't be much of a party, as you'd all have to keep quiet until the winner was announced :P

JJ, lol. Well, I did think this when I wrote the post. However, I was relying on someone like you to say they were packing for a ski trip/having cuddles under the duvet with their Swiss (was he Swiss?) boyfriend/watching Chalet Girl on dvd :))
