I think so. An economy measure?
They don't have coffee creams,

I'd guess all the tins that might be bought as gifts are much of a muchness.

the tins used to be 1kg, I think they are 850g now, there are a lot of orange/strawberry creams :s
Yes, the tins were a lot bigger. I used to take the tin to cookery classes at school to bring my cookery bits that i had made home in. so i remember it well.
Have they ever been any good?
Cadbury/Kraft are probably the more scheming of all manufacturers. Eighteen months ago the Dairy Milk bar of 250gram priced at £1.20 was reduced to 230gram. The price has continued to rise to £2 and now they have reduced the weight to 200gram; price remains the same. Krafty eh?
I have an empty Quality street tin from a few years ago 1.2kg now only 850g
I think a lot of chocolats have change. Black Magic used to be my favourite but hardy any of them are the original ones now. Never buy them now
My friend always buys me chocolates and she knows I like soft centres. Nuts are out and I am not fond of hard centres of any kind, although I will eat them if there is nothing else. She goes to Thorntons and buys their soft centre mix. Delicious. Can't go wrong. I could live on them, well almost. Perhaps with a few Marks and Spencers jam doughnuts thrown in.
