Christmas shoe box for charity -suggestions please

I would like to send a couple of charity Christmas Shoe boxes to young people . i would like the boxes to be sent as is (I've heard some boxes are opened and things mixed up). which is the best charity to send these through? When we lived near an air force base we sent boxes to children in Afghanistan through the RAF -is there anything similar? -sending gifts to children who are living in very difficult situations? there are plenty of charities out there when you Google -but which are the best ?

hi jenna and thanks for the reply. I found this site yesterday, but when you click on '#get started' a message comes up saying the deadline for this Christmas has passed -its a bit confusing really.....
