My Granddads name is Bartholomew. The other granddad is Hugh Chestnut. His sister is Creighton Chestnut. I only found that out recently thanks to BM :-)

We once knew a lovely, demure lady called Hoare, which is a prominent name in Gibraltar and she was often asked if she was related to them. Once when she had had a couple of drinks her reply was, loudly, Darling, I'm related to all the bl...y Hoares in Gibraltar.
