Rear wiper for Honda HRV

Been to 2 places to get a replacement blade for this, both have told me that the whole wiper arm needs to be replaced. ??? cost, ??? any other ideas?

What's with these car manufacturers making vehicles where you're expected to replace the entire rear wiper arm for the sake of a blade? My partner has a 54 plate Fiat Stilo and it's the same with that.

Talk about a waste - of both materials and money. Tell you what, instead of replacing the wipers why not just get new windscreens fitted when the glass gets dirty?

Got new wiper blade fitted in original fitting today from garage I got the car from several years ago, didn't cost me a penny!!
