The voice of Leela in Futurama sounds suspiciously like the woman in 'Married with Children'. Could it be so????

Yeah, it's really disappionting to find out the sexiest cyclops is really peggy bundy.....kinda the same thing when you find out that the Cadbury's caramel bunny was vioced by Miriam Margoyles.

She does the voice really well, mind you. In one episode they actually do a parody of Married with Children, where Leela plays Peggy, that's when the penny kinda dropped, but wasn't too sure. So are there any other famous people doing the voices in Futurama?

I don't actually like it. I'm a huge fan of the Simpsons but have never really got into Futurama. No there are no other famous people doing the voices that I can see. I went to www.IMDB.com and searched for Futurama, all the other cast members seeem to be seasoned Cartoon voice over experts and play multiple parts where as Katey Sagal does the voice for Leela only.
