Granddaughter's first email

I received an email from my 7 year old granddaughter last night saying it was the first one she had ever sent, how much she loved me and her Nan, my OH, and thanking us for the times we look after her.
I was really touched at that but the final sentence really choked me up, "If ever I lose you, I will cry for years and years."
Gulp!!

Awww! I know how you feel Parky, mine is 8 and loves her laptop
(Xmas pressy last year) I felt priveleged when I recieved my first too. At school 2 nights a week she joined the hour extra evening classes in computing, & is now an expert (she thinks) & is always showing me things & what to do. She amazes me all the time.
