With minimal information about candidates (ie. if you want to know go to the website) how does one vote? Supposed to be non-political but 4 from 5 in my area state political allegiance. What about people who do not have access to the internet?
Probably won't bother.

I will be spoiling my ballot paper. One of our candidates is John Prescott. I don't fancy having him (or indeed any politician) in charge of the Police.
We have 2 lady candidates, one has put forward her reasons for standing, and the other has put forward her anti-tory reasons for standing, I'll vote for the first one.
I have NOT had the booklet that is supposed to go to every house, so how can I choose when I don't know who to choose because I haven't had the booklet.
I was thinking of doing the same, squarebear. I've been on the website and it's all rhetoric and I can't make a decision based on that alone. I don't think I actually agree with the whole premise of having Police Commissioners anyhow. Seems to be a complete waste of money when national and local government are meant to be cost cutting.
4/6 candidates are well known in our local area. me and mr kicker have worked for the local council (and me for the health trust) so we know thm quite well. that mixed with our information was enough to choose well. all three of us (including the boy) sent our postal votes off today. done x

Never heard of any of ours. Sorry this is in the wrong category. Not used to new laptop.
Unlikley to vote, never heard of any of them apart from one page in our local rag.
I have had a ballot card for about 3 weeks now.
I have absolutely no idea of the options available for me to vote for so therefore, unless I am given some information, I will not be voting.
How can I be expected to vote for "a name on a ballot form"?
