not been able to grow caulis before but picked one from the polytunnel tonight and when all outside leaves and stem removed (u to the forets) removed it weighed 1.5 kilos. cooked some for tea and it tasted good. so pleased.

makes up for this year's onions being so small.

I love cauliflower raw!
my cauli's and cabbages are big this year too - my beetroot was miserable and so were my runner beans. the potato tub I did keeps on an on - I get enough new little potatoes for a meal for two. My onions weren't too bad, just average. stuff in the green house has done well....chili anybody?
