I have woken this morning with really sore skin under my eyes...there are a few red dots which are very small but quite painful.

I have been experiencing dry skin on my legs and scalp also and am wondering if they are all linked. It is making me feel miserable so any suggestions as to possible cause and treatment would be very welcome!

Have you been eating some different processed foods recently? If you have there's always a slight chance you've developed an allergic reaction to something in the ingredients? Alternatively, have you changed your washing powder, hair shampoo or started using a bath foam which may some ingredients which are causing a reaction? Rubbing some moisturing cream into your legs may help. If you wear trousers all the time, are they rubbing? Alternatively it may be a shortage of something in your diet, like Vitamin C. Don't know what to suggest about the dry scalp. My mother used to give her dry hair an occasional soak in olive oil wrapped round with a warm towel but that's a fairly messy solution and I don't know how effective it was.

This totally useless information i know but i read somewhere about the red spots under the eye thing. i think it shows a lack of something but obviously cant remember what it was !
Do you have a herbalist near you? These things are usually a toxicity type thing and you could do with a detox and more of one thing or another in your diet. (lIke i said useless information- sorry!)
not sure if this helps either,, but i suffer from psorisis occasionally,,,,,,,this is linked to eczma and could cause your problem,,,, i actually had eczma under my eyes once before and my bottom eye lashes fell out!!! i got recommended to use vaseline as it's safe round the eyes,,,,,,,it can be caused by stress and can come and go randomly, so try not to worry....
