Cayenne pepper substitute....

Pretty much as above... It's for a spinach and cheese savoury muffin recipe. Sainsburys didn't have any and I wanted to make them tonight! Any thoughts??

I'd use paprika with some chilli powder added. But, if you've got no cayenne....will you have paprika and chilli?

I have smoked paprika and hot chilli powder.. will that do?

As you can probably guess, I'm not that much of a cook... cheese on toast is as adventurous as I usually get :)
i would use chilli powder or like ginge says paprika and chilli mix ..i think all 3 come from chilli peppers :)
