Is the CAB free for all or do you have to be on benifits to go for help? TIA

Yes free for all , but they are getting very busy so if you need them there may be a waiting list.

The only time I went they asked me a for a donation
It usual to make a donation..
...and you can't make an appointment.
It is free for all but you have to ring up to make an appointment first.
That's interesting JB12. It's a long time since I had need of the CAB but at the time it was a case of turning up and waiting. No doubt things have changed since then but it's good to know.
i think each cab is an independent entity, therefore the rules are all different
