We always stay at the Gosforth Park.
>>>sunday to a friday

Surely all the stag dos and hen dos would be Friday night or Saturday night when I guess you wont be there.
Ooh, owdhammer!!

Seriously, what do you want to spend?
There's a Jurys, a Travel Lodge, a Premier Inn. A Holiday Inn at Wideopen about 3 miles North of Newcastle but an easy taxi ride.

The Gosforth Park is in the upper price range and again is about 2 miles North.
some here. I have no personal knowledge

Dorset Arms in Wallsend,150 yards from Coast Road, loads of Buses to Newcastle.Travel Time about 15 minutes. Stayed there regularly and never been dissapointed.
Try the Niche hotel on Grey Street. Small boutique hotel. I stayed there at a weekend and it was quiet. hey have deals at the weekend, it's normally very expensive
Grey Street, thugulike!! I'm not surprised it's expensive.
