don't think so apart from the spelling
I think that in the US it is called gelatin, whereas in the UK it's gelatine.
Don't think so .... I try and avoid both !

Thanks guys, I did google it before I asked the question and I read somewhere that one was a vegetable and one was animal derived. I guess the info was wrong!
