God I hate it when other people do this but really want to get this nipped in the bud.

Evian, it may well have been a combination of these faults, but judging by the faults you have listed the steering was very worn.

Remember that they are tyre fitters, not mechanics, Evian.

I think they do whole garage services, but I guess they might have different people who just work on the tyre side of it.
