Some interesting responses to my question on the scariest film ever made a couple of days ago (and have made a note of several films to watch over the coming months...ones I've not seen before).

Last nightm whilst enjoying the last of the summer rays in Covent Garden, I brought up the question of the funniest[i films ever made.

What are they? And the rule is - if you sat down to watch them today, you should still laugh. Perhaps not as much as you did when you first saw them, but they should each produce at least five or six huge belly laughs.

My all time favourite [i]used] to be 'Airplane', followed by 'Life Of Brian', 'The Producers' (original), 'South Park: Bigger Longer Uncut', 'The Devil Wears Prada', 'Team America' and 'The Women' (original 1939 version).

However a couple of years ago, they were all superseded by 'Bridesmaids'.

I assume you're looking forward to 'Anchorman 2' next year?

I thought Steve Carell was genius in the first film.
Stir Crazy. Big Business.
Oh yeah, Four Lions is superb.

I'm not sure really SP. I sometimes think these things are left at just one excellent film. Like the Hangover, the second just wasn't as good. Though not awful. Ill wait and see.
Airplane, Galaxy Quest, Life of Brian, so many in fact, but my hangover is blocking any logical thought and my powers of recollection have disappeared.
I have to concede with some already on here, including National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and Cousin Vinny, also thought Uncle Buck was funny and one, which I can't remember what it was called, it was about a group of boys trying to lose their virginity (not American Pie), one of the boys was called 'meat' and another 'peewee' - anyone know it?

sp - you think The Devil Wears Prada is funny - I enjoyed this film, but didn't view it as a comedy ?
Chaptazbru, the film title you are looking for is 'Porky's'.

That's it daffy - thank you.
