A sporting event, but more a general interest question. I don't particularly like golf, never have and never will, but I'm sitting up late to watch the Ryder Cup finale, despite an 06:30 start tomorrow.

Are there any events that make you watch a sport/event you aren't really into?

Yes don't know why, but I want Europe to win the Ryder Cup, Kentucky Derby, Churchill Downs etc
