Just looking on some of the buy, sell and swap pages on Facebook. There are so many people who sell items for £2. I just don't see the point of going to that hassle for so little money. I sometimes see it in the local paper too, i.e a jigsaw for £3. I would rather give it to a charity shop than sell it for that.

Would you bother to sell items that cheap?

P.S I think you can get away with it more at a car boot if you are selling other goods.
not only that, but then you get some twonk saying "can you deliver?" LOL
I buy and sell a lot of records (mainly vinyl) and have a general rule of £5 minimum. Anything beneath that represents such little profit that it's almost not worth the bother...
I've seen people selling all sorts of things on those and asking for 50p. I always wonder what the point is.

What makes me laugh is that even with something really cheap someone will come along and haggle just to get even 5p taken off.
As long as they pay the postage why not ?
I have put things on ebay with a 99p start and only got the 99p, still sent them though. I once bought a camera for 99p on ebay then sold it a few days later for £68 .
I once advertised a moped. It was made clear that it was free, road worthy and 30 odd years old. A guy came to take a look and complained that it was a bit tatty........
