When can I move rhubarb

I have a couple of rhubarb plants that have been where they are for about 7 years. I would now prefer them to be somewherer else, can I move them now or wait till spring.

In my experience rhubarb plants are tough buggers - and almost impossible to kill.

I'd perhaps wait until the stems have died back, but otherwise just move them when it's convenient - a good heap of grass mowings or compost over them once re-planted will keep the frost out.

Thanks Dave, They are dying back now so maybe I'll do it at the weekend.
I thought hte idea was that rhubarb moved you !
