My monitor just shuts down while I'm using it and the screen goes blank.. The little green light at the front stays on. I unplug it, put it aside for a few days and it works again, for about another week before the same problem occurs again. What could be wrong? Any other monitor in its place does not suffer this problem) [email protected]

Sounds like either a dry joint, that is a soldered joint is no longer making good contact, this is due to heat as the solder expands away from the components, or a component failing under load. Either way, take it to a TV repair man, but for what its likely to cost, it might be worth replacing it.
