Can anyone tell me the difference between Red Salmon and Wild Red Salmon please? Does it mean Red is from a fish farm and Wild Red is caught in the open sea. I would be interested to know.

Yes, your assumption is correct.
Tinned salmon ...... bleurgh... :0/
Wild would be caught. M&S do a tin of skinless and boneless. But at over £4, I think, it's fairly expensive
I should imagine all salmon in tins has been caught!
I hate fresh salmon, it has to be tinned --delicious.
About 50p a tin
lol. true
boneless tinned salmon is plain wrong...the bones are delicious. I just can't eat fresh salmon as it make me feel sick but tinned or smoked, its delicious.
Tinned salmon is our equivalent of a bush-tucker trial.....it is nasty.

50p a tin...I wish. Thanks for your answers.
Marty means one is 50p more expensive, Jeza.
Remember when tinned salmon was luxury, reserved for Sunday tea? Many is the time that I saw those who could not run to a tin of salmon produce a tin of tuna, liberally dowsed with vineger and cochineal colouring, pretending that it was salmon. My mother wasn't fooled!

At £3 for a small tin it's still a luxury. I can't abide either Tuna or Pink Salmon. It has to be Red.
I could never eat pink salmon either, has to be red.
I remember when Mum wouldnt buy anything but pink salmon because it was a lot cheaper than red, and I bet it still is a lot cheaper to buy.
My cousin once told me that red salmon is pink really but with a red colour added.
She also thinks that 'Light' spread is called that because the colour is lighter.
I'm not saying anything!
