Wedding Anniversary

Thank you all for your best wishes. We had a roast beef platter in a pub with bread, pickle, salad, (could have had horseradish but don't like it).
Really nice meal.
Does anyone remember when pubs only dished up beer and crisps?

Yes thank you nibble. Really nice meal. My wife and I are having a day alone tomorrow with a Chinese, (meal, that is). Hopefully the weather will be good and a bit warmer than today.

happy anniversary parkdale, yes I remember on the pub counter in the old days a jar of bath oliver biscuits mainly given to a dog [ dogs used to come in pubs then with their master] and the other thing that really put you off food was a large see thru jar of pickled eggs, god knows how long ago they had been actually pickled.
