Bought a cheese one from tesco to have with some chilli con carne I am making, question I ask is;
Will it crisp up easier long and slow in a medium heat oven, or fast in a really hot oven?

It is quite spongy just now, would like it to be crispy.

Thanks

I give mine around 8 minutes at 200° or 10 minutes at 180°.
Damp the top with water and put it into a preheated oven at 200 deg C for 2 or 3 mins . Long slow heating will ruin it. Hot and short needed.
Heathfield 8 mins is far too long ! 220 deg if your over will do it and 1 min is even better. fan oven better than a standard oven.
Sprinkle it with water then put in a very hot oven for 1 to 2 mins max
...the cheaper way is under a lowish grill for a few minutes each side.
I think slowly but on a gentle heat.
