Maggots

Hi We have a load of maggots crawling across our patio YUK how do you get rid of these nasty things, don't know where they came from either

Had a simillar thing at my parents many years ago. The birds swooped in and ate them.

I'd sweep them up and kill them (with bleach probably). They'll all turn into flies. There must be some rotting meat or dead animal nearby.

are you sure they are maggots and not crane fly larvae? We had something similar a few years ago and it was cranefly larvae that had come out of the lawn.

thanks for all the replies, will just wait until they turn to flies, don't see anything or smell anything rotten nearby unless it can be my neighbour lol
