Unfortunately the Stock Exchange Historic Price Service only goes back to June 1999, therefore unless you can trace the Compay Registrars from 45 years ago, or find an archive with a copy of the Stock Exchange Official List (or the Financial Times if they were quoted there) you will struggle to find the information you require.
Would the information have been printed in the press at the time? Old newspapers are usually easily available on-line.
Is this of any help

Many thanks for your assistance. I certainly know an awful lot more on this subject now. The shares were converted into treasury bonds and the price per share may have been £1.00 but I wouldn't bet my life on it. Still working on it. Again, many thanks.

Kind Regards,

Stewart
