Videos going viral on U Tube

You hear of videos going viral and I wondered what makes these videos so special, when I spoke to somebody about this once they claimed that you pay a fee to upgrade the video.

Youtube pay you if the video goes viral (if you want adverts on it that is). Not heard of paying to get your video upgraded to go viral though.

It just depends on if it catches on or not. You get some stupid stuff on youtube!!

Thanks for that, I have a couple of videos of my St.Bernard which somebody suggested that I put on YouTube as they are really funny but they haven't had a lot of views. John
