Boil it, let cool, then put in fridge. Serve with a slice or squeeze of lemon. Should taste better.

No problem in drinking the water, it will taste different because you are use to where you live,they treat it in different ways.drink up and enjoy.

Are all the Floridians dead? No? Then it's safe to drink.
Americans like their mains water to smell and taste "safe" ie as if it's been well-treated with sanitising agents eg chlorine or ozone.
