While there are a few individual posts on the subject, I can't see a thread suggesting names which were missing from the line-up last night.

Here's a few that I think should have been considered:

Rolling Stones
Tom Jones
Jamie Cullum
Bellowhead
June Tabor & Oyster Band

Agreement? Disagreement? Further suggestions, anyone?

Where the poppies lay, young men dream,
of home and life

too soon they go, to fill the skies with their song
longing for the quiet hills of yesteryear

be quiet now, for they are gone.
Not quite a headbanger lol! I suppose I do gravitate more towards music of the rock persuasion :)

Paolo Nutini would have been excellent as well actually!
Stiff little fingers
Franz Ferdinand
Manic Street Preachers

Should have been there to represent the ethnic minorities.

Paolo Nutini would be great for a party!

We'll need some bhangra as well then, Mick ;-)
Russell Watson would have been good. I know they are no longer together as a band but Simply Red - seen them live a few times and Micks voice is so soulful and strong.
Question Author
Yes, both good suggestions, Sanden. (If the dreaded Spice Girls could get back together, so could others!)
