I have just come ba ck from the vets after picking up my dog. I told the nurse to put my change into the RSPCA charity box. she told me THE BOX STOLEN WHILE SHE WAS IN BACK OF OFFICE. AND IT WAS FULL OF MONEY. I am fuming to think that some grotty low life has taken money off defencless animals money that could save animals lives. I hope their pets never need this wonderful service that relys on charity to keep it going. not only that quite a bit of it was MY money that i had put in over the last couple of months. to think that its gone to feed some bastards drug habit or on drink makes me so angry. sorry about language but I am fuming.

My 7year old grandson was in the childrens cancer ward very ill, for 6months last year and his Nintendo and all the games for it + his mums mobile phone and chargers and a lot of other stuff which they had accidently left for a short time in a 'patients' carrier bag in the childrens playroom were all stolen. I still can't believe it as it must have been taken either by someone who had a child in there or a visitor who would be a close relation to a child. These people are the scum of the earth in my opinion, I am still upset just writing this - rosy
Very well said kendra and all the comments on here taking the p*ss because it's an animal charity really make me sick. Animals are just as much deserving of charity as humans are, more in a lot of cases and if people want to put money in the RSPCA charity box, then it it entirely up to them what they do with their money. As for the nasty comments about 'old ladies with cats' - how totally unnecessary. I know a lovely old lady whose cat is her sole companion and she loves it, and what's wrong with that ????

I am so sorry for you I think these sort of people are the scum of the earth.
an rspca box seems of no importance in comparison, I hope their concience gets the better of them if they have one at all. I hope your grandson is on the mend now. did they have cctv cameras there they usually do in hospitals.
Oi chaptazbru, I can tell you that I for one was not taking the p!ss.

Some people only come on this site to take the p..s It wasnt the fact that it was an animal charity box so much as that they actually pinched any charity box, thank you for your support I hope the people who scoff never have to take a much beloved pet to be put down as i had to in january after having her for 14 yrs. the rspca were wonderful to her and me. I will always support them. in Kendras memory.
kendra, as I said earlier, there are some scum that will thieve anything of anybody.
Thank you Kendra. No they didn't have any cameras in the playroom I don't think. He is home now thank heaven, and is back at school altho' still going back to hospital for treatment. - rosy
And yet more over sensitivity. I know A 60+ year old bloke who has a cat and sells drugs ...... lovely fella, other than the drugs thing.
I bet he's a cyclist.
It is more likely to have been kids that drug addicts.

Slight overreaction I think!
chaptaz really loves sticking up for the animals, and you shouldn't make fun of it either.

It may have been stolen by a passing monkey who are known to steal things to please themselves.

Could this be possible?
