Now that the lottery top prize is capped at £148 million what happens to the money that will be wagered between now and Friday?

Probably shared among the other prizes
I imagine it will go in the pot and be used up over time in things like guaranteed £20M jackpot etc.
Just checked Euromillions website. Any monies received above the capped jackpot will be passed down to the next prizewinning numbers

The smaller prizes will be increased, then. I still can only manage to get the occasional 6 or 8 quid.

£3.40 instead of the £3.30 I won maybe :-)
