Hi Miss Meg, when you do get on to the Gravatar site just upload whatever picture you want. It will then ask you to select which one you want o use and there you go!

You must have set up an avatar on Gravatar initially. Just go back onto Gravatar and add a new avatar in the same way as you set up the first one, and then on Gravatar select the new one as your active avatar. It may not change on Answerbank straight away- you may have to wait up to an hour

Thank you factor30, I have managed to get on gravatar, seemed easy when I first did it but getting really stressed out now.

Have you found a goat picture you want and downloaded it onto your computer?

Go on to Gravatar and click on the 'add a new image' option (or something like that) and select the 'image on my computer' option.
Make sure you set the rating to G when given a choice of ratings

Click on my avatar and look on my profile, miss meg, and do you see my goat pic avatar which I added a few minutes ago

Thanks for all your help, yes factor 30, I have found a goat, I think I'm in love, lol!!
Still cannot get the hang of gravatar, most likely me that is thick, will try again, can't stand defeat!!

Step 1. Is your goat pic saved as a file on your PC?
Step 2. Have you signed onto Gravatar and can you see your current dog avatar.
Step 3. Can you see the option to 'add a new image'? If so click on it.
Step 4. Select the file name of the image you want to add.
Step 5. Set the rating to G when given a choice of ratings.

Let me know at what step this process fails and I'll see if I can work out what's going wrong

Can i get rid of my goat pic now on my avatar? I just wanted to show it can be done. You can pinch my pic if you want - just right click on my image and select the 'save...' option

I think I may have missed out the step on Gravatar where you click on Manage My Avatars before you choose to add an image
