There's been some discussion on Radio 4 today as to whether Michael Phelps is the greatest Olympian of all time ( 19 Olympic Medals). Lord Coe didn't seem to agree, but did not name his choice. Who would be yours ?

Mine would be Jesse Owens (1936 Olympics)

I read all the posts jake that's how I was able to point out the innacuracies in yours. This sort of thing is always going to be subjective. I stick by my choice and I also have nothing but admiration for the choices of others here, especially your but I think Sir Steve just edges it.
